RUNNERS POINT was a specialist retail chain for shoes and clothing in the running segment with a well-developed branch network. With the support of the management and Hannover Finanz, the specialist running retailer was separated from the KarstadtQuelle Group in 2005 and run by the management as an independent medium-sized company until it was sold to Foot Locker Inc.

With equity capital from Hannover Finanz, RUNNERS POINT was able to realize the separation from the KarstadtQuelle Group, the management buy-out and further expansion during the eight-year partnership.
