Christian joined the Hannover Finanz team in 2025 and supports our portfolio companies as an operating partner in our Value Creation Team, focusing on strategy and growth.

Previously, he headed the Group Transformation Office at industrial company thyssenkrupp, where he supported the largest segment, Materials Services, and the large-size bearings business (‘rothe erde’) on their transformation journeys. From 2014 to 2022, he worked at EY-Parthenon and OCC Strategy Consultants, most recently as Associate Partner. Christian has extensive expertise in strategy development, commercial excellence and value creation, which he has applied in practice primarily for corporate clients in the construction sector and for private equity investors internationally. He started his career at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, where he designed and implemented holistic transformation and restructuring programmes across various industries from 2008 to 2014. Christian holds an M.Sc. and B.Sc. in International Business from Maastricht University, specialising in corporate finance and strategy.

In his free time, Christian is interested in contemporary art and is an active member of the Rotary Club Düsseldorf-Pempelfort. When he is not enjoying winding country roads on his restored Vespa, Christian likes to swim, play tennis and golf, or travel the Asian continent with his family.
