Birgit has worked in finance and accounting at Hannover Finanz since 1992. She is a qualified tax clerk and has completed an evening course in business administration (Betriebswirt VWA) at the Leibniz Academy in Hanover alongside her work.

In her free time, Birgit can be found in her garden or jogging through the city park.
