Marcus has been part of the Value Creation Team at Hannover Finanz since 2025. As a project manager focusing on growth, strategy and commercial excellence, he supports our portfolio companies in all phases.

Marcus began his professional career in the start-up industry, where he worked for approximately 10 years and gained experience in developing digital business models at companies such as Rocket Internet and eBay.

He then led consulting projects with a focus on IT and strategy for a boutique consulting firm before founding his own company in 2022 and serving as CEO of an incubator financed by a family office. During this time, he completed an investment in a medium-sized company in the e-mobility sector, which he successfully restructured and then led to a successful exit.
Marcus is currently completing an Executive MBA programme with a focus on finance at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. He received a partial scholarship for entrepreneurship and leadership for this programme.

In his free time, Marcus enjoys outdoor activities, travelling around the world and curling up on the sofa with a good book.
