Lacon is a TOP20 EMS accelerator that specializes in classic device construction, from cables and circuit boards to control cabinets, and as an ODM provider makes machines and devices IoT-capable. Lacon’s products are installed at Knorr-Bremse and Würth, among others, and are used in railway station displays. The company has sites in Germany and Romania. In addition to design & engineering with associated production, the distribution business for electronic and electromechanical components is also a priority. The service also includes testing and global logistics concepts. The company has made a name for itself in particular with its willingness to produce small series, small quantities and customized prototypes. Larger technology focused company groups are just as much customers as small innovative start-ups.

During our investment period, important decisions were made to enable further growth. These included, in particular, the acquisition of Montronic GmbH & Co., which enabled expansion into the northern German market and subsequently opened up the aviation segment as an attractive new target market. In November 2025, Incap acquired all shares in Hannover Finanz. With the entry of Incap, an internationally positioned EMS specialist, Lacon gains a strong strategic owner who has an excellent understanding of the business model and provides the ideal conditions for the next phase of growth.
