Götz has been Managing Partner at Hannover Finanz since February 2026. He has more than 20 years of experience in private equity and financing. Most recently, he worked for Triton Partners for around nine years, where, as Partner and Co-Head DACH, he played a key role in establishing and developing the smaller mid-cap strategy.

Prior to that, Götz was already a partner and member of the Investment and Portfolio Committee at Hannover Finanz. Other stages in his career include senior positions at Odewald & Compagnie in the mid-market private equity business and in leveraged finance at Dresdner Kleinwort and WestLB. He began his professional career at Ernst & Young in the Transaction Advisory Services division.

Götz holds a degree in International Business Studies from the International School of Management and is a CFA Charterholder.

In his free time, Götz primarily spends time with his family and in the mountains, both for winter sports and hunting.
